Spanish ClassesSpanish classes will be available for volunteers who want to learn to speak basic Spanish. These are two-week courses which consist of three to four hours of instruction a day. They are small group settings using a textbook with a spanish speaking professor. Spanish Classes begin every week on Monday morning. The first week of your classes are in the morning and the second week of classes are in the afternoon. We recommend that you arrive over the weekend if you wish to begin classes on Monday. However a weekend arrival is not otherwise necessary. Taking the classes is suggested but is optional. You will receive a Spanish book to allow you continue your studies when you resume traveling. There are more advanced courses available (for a fee) with independent teachers in Cochabamba. There are also people in Villa Tunari that are willing to tutor students.
