We invite you to come inside the homes of those who live in the Chapare.

This is the first floor of a typical home. This area is generally used for food preparation, storage, and a family area. The second floor is used for sleeping.

A Family Living/Dining Room. They have no walls, but on the table you will find a TV.

A Kitchen/Dining Room. This area is used to prepare and eat food.

A Bedroom. This lucky family has a bed made of straw with a wool blanket and a mosquito net. The majority of families in the area sleep on the wood floor and have little or no protection against the cold.
